DO's and Dont's

Domestic Customers

Do’s

  • Turn off the valve on gas line near PNG meter and regulator.
  • Open all the doors and window of the area.
  • Immediately stop gas stove.
  • Cover the gas leakage point with a wet cloth.
  • Keep away people from the leakage area.
  • Immediately inform to BGL officers and local fire brigade regarding the emergency situation.

Don’t s

  • Do not use any open flame like match box etc.
  • Do not on/off any electrical appliances.
  • Do not get panic and stay away from the emergency area.
  • Do not spread rumor in case of emergency.
  • Do not use mobile phone near gas leakage area.

Do’s

  • In case of gas leakage/fire, close the inlet isolation valve of MRS (Meter Regulating Skid)
  • In case of any emergency viz. Gas leakage, immediately contact to BGL officers.
  • In case of Fire dial 101 to inform fire services.
  • In case of gas leakages, immediately evacuate affected area.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in & around MRS.
  • Maintain Fire extinguishers in good working condition.
  • Please contact BGL officers in case of any problem with MRS.

Commercial and Industrial customers

Don’t s

  • Don’t start fire/hot work near MRS.
  • Don’t smoke near MRS.
  • Don’t use mobile phone and camera near MRS.
  • Don’t store or allow to accumulate waste material/items near MRS.
  • Don’t tamper with MRS.
  • Don’t park any vehicles near MRS.
  • Don’t block the access route of MRS.

Do’s

  • Get down from the vehicle during filling of CNG in the vehicle.
  • Always be alert inside the CNG station area.
  • Please help us keep the CNG station area clean.
  • Always obey security and safety rules in CNG station.

Don’t s

  • Do not use mobile phone in the CNG station.
  • Do not use match box, open flame etc. in CNG area.
  • Do not smoke or spit in CNG area.
  • Do not get panic in case of emergency and follow the instructions of CNG station staff.
