Scope of Work

Providing Light commercial Vehicles (LCV) for minimum payload of 6 tons on rate contract basis for an initial contract period of one year and extendable to another one year on the same terms and conditions based on the performance for round the clock operation of CNG transportation to various CNG retail outlets.

Bidders Eligibility Criteria

        Technical & Financial:

        Part-A(VijayawadaOperation)

1. The Bidder should be in the transport business of CNG / LPG / Pressurized cascades / tankers , for a minimum period of 3 year. Documentary proof to attach.

2. The bidder must have successfully executed one such single work order in the last 3 years as mentioned at Sl. No. 1 above, of order value not less than Rs. 13.15 lakhs worth.  

3. The bidder must have been providing transport service within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
   
   
4. The annual turnover should be not less than Rs.13.15 lakhs in any of the preceding three years. FY 2002-03, 2003-04 and 2004-05
   
   
5. The bidder should own at least 1/3 of the vehicles quoted by him at the time of bidding, however on placement of work order the total vehicles deployed at BGL should be owned by him. The bidder should enclose RC, Fitness certificate and Insurance for these vehicles.
   
   
6. The un-priced bid should be accompanied by an EMD of Rs 53000/- drawn in favour of BGL
   
   (Proper documents to be enclosed where ever necessary otherwise the bidders bid is liable to be rejected and BGL does not own any responsibility )

    Part-B(HyderabadOperation) 

7. The Bidder should be in the transport business of CNG / LPG / Pressurized cascades / tankers, for a minimum period of 3 year. Documentary proof to attach.
   
   
   
8. The bidder must have successfully executed one such single work order in the last 3 years as mentioned at Sl. No. 7 above, of order value not less than Rs. 196 lakhs (considering 20 LCVs) worth. If the bidder wants to quote only part of the requirement, such order value to be prorated based on total number of vehicle offered.
   
   
9. The bidder must have been providing transport service within the state of Andhra Pradesh
   
   
10. The annual turnover should be not less than Rs.196 lakhs, (if the bidder quotes for the full requirement otherwise it will be limited to the vehicles quoted by the bidder) in any of the preceding three years. FY 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07
    
    
11. The bidder should own at least 1/3 of the vehicles quoted by him at the time of bidding, however on placement of work order the total vehicles deployed at BGL should be owned by him. The bidder should enclose RC, Fitness certificate and Insurance for these vehicles.
    
    
12. The un-priced bid should be accompanied by an EMD of Rs 39000/- per vehicle drawn in favour of BGL. If the bidder wants to quote only part of the requirement, the  EMD   to be prorated based on total number of vehicle required is 20 with       the restriction that the bidder should quote for minimum 5 vehicles
    
    
13. Bidders should offer minimum 5 LCVs out of the total 20 LCVs under this item. Owner reserved the right to split the order to different successful bidders       (maximum 3 numbers) provided the offered quantity meets the requisite quantity       as mentioned and matching with the L1 rates

    Part-C (Rajahmundry Operation)
    
    
14. The Bidder should be in the transport business of CNG / LPG / Pressurized cascades / tankers, for a minimum period of 3 year. Documentary proof to attach.
    
15. The bidder must have successfully executed one such singe work order in the last 3 years as mentioned at Sl. No. 13 above, of order value not less than Rs. 7.4 lakhs worth.
     
16. The bidder must have been providing transport service within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
    
    
17. The annual turnover should be not less than Rs.7.4 in any of the preceding three years. FY 2004-05, 2005-06 and 2006-07
    
    
18. The bidder should own at least 1/3 of the vehicles quoted by him at the time of bidding, however on placement of work order the total vehicles deployed at BGL should be owned by him. The bidder should enclose RC, Fitness certificate and also Insurance for these vehicles.
    
    
19. The un-priced bid should be accompanied by an EMD of Rs 30000/- drawn in favour of BGL   
    
    (Proper documents to be enclosed where ever necessary otherwise the bidders bid are liable to be rejected and BGL does not own any responsibility)

NOTE:

1. 1. BIDDERS WANT TO QUOTE FOR ANY COMBINATION SHOULD NECESSARILY SATISFY CUMMULATIVE BEC’S AND EMD CRITERIA GIVEN FOR INDIVIDUAL LOCATION.
2. Bidder(s) not meeting the above technical or and financial criteria are advised not to quote.
3. In no case, any successful bidder will not be awarded more than 50% of the total requirement of BGL
